About

On my 2nd day out of high school I started working for Mark Foxen at Valley Custom Auto Body as a Paint Assistant. I worked as a paint assistant for a year then became the head painter for the next five years. I worked at a couple other body shops along the way and was hired to rebuild a 34′ Chevy coupe.

In April 1994 I shared a building in Fresno, with my dad, Jim Dunn. He was doing fiberglass work and designing the Bullet Outrigger boat. I was doing custom paint jobs on cars and boats as “Warning Briendunnit”

In July 1994 we moved out to Madera, Ca. off Hwy 41. I started doing fiberglass, gel coat and custom paint jobs. During that time I also painted boats for Jack Davidson of Sanger Boats and Bob Leach Of Eliminator boats.

In 2005 I became partners with my dad and started the Bullet Fiberglass Corporation. We opened a second shop in Stockton CA. The Bullet Outrigger boat, Berryman Bullet, hit the water for the first time. The recession hit in 2007 and we had to close the Stockton shop. We worked out of the Madera shop where we are currently.

In 2008 Centurion boats bought one of our Bullet hydro’s for Eddie Knox’s, “Problem Child.” Problem Child was a very successful boat and consequently, Bullet Outriggers became very popular. The Berryman bullet became “Hot Licks” (Dennis Gibson), “Toxic Rocket” (Joe Cassidy), “Tequila Sunrise” (James Ray), “Speed Sport” (Lou Osmond), “Spirit Of Texas” (David Kirkland), “Thunder Down Under” (Craig Cook), “Dirty Duck” (Slug Hefner), “Untouchables” (Steve Streeter), and “Shadow” (John Groth) now called “Shockwave” (Jeff Vail).

In June 2018, my dad retired along with the name Bullet Fiberglass, Inc. I started a new Corporation with my wife, Sandra called Bullet Extreme, Inc. We stayed in the same location 14680 N. HWY 41 Madera, Ca. 93636 doing business as usual. Our business is thriving and building stronger relationships with past, present and future customers. My wife, Sandra is the office manager, secretary and providing quality customer service. My right hand man Alex Souza is the master of custom fiberglass, extreme fabrication and a true craftsman.

A lot of you know in the midst of dissolving the corporation The Hydro molds were sold to Kevin Felkins. I know Kevin will do a great job with the builds.

Thank you for your time and support.
